We are a completely 100% Volunteer agency. We contract with the Town of Glen to provide emergency services to the Town residents, those who work here and those who travel through our town. We also provide Mutual Aid across Montgomery County and beyond, thru Mutual Aid agreements on the local department level, the county wide system and State Wide Mutual Aid agreements. We have gone to help folks in Schoharie County during times of floods, we have been to the far north western part of the State to help during a ice storm. Our members are here to do what it takes to help folks when ever they are in need.
We currently have a total of 46 members on our rolls. Not all are active, we have retired life members and we have active members. We have classifications of membership, so there is a place for everyone that wants to contribute something to help the community form within our organization.
